The Veloce Energy FastGrid™ system makes it easier, faster, and less costly to connect new loads to the electric utility grid. Connecting new loads like EV charging stations and building electrification can cost hundreds of thousands to over one million dollars and take 18 to 24 months or longer. Using the FastGrid we can sharply reduce the connection size, and therefore the cost and time. 

The FastGrid system includes the VPort™ a modular battery energy storage system designed to fit on the EV charging island, parking lot margin, or along a building wall. Highly modular, it is easy to design, install, and expand later. It is very compact, providing far more storage in the available area. FastGrid also includes the FastConnect™, a modular, overhead power, and communications distribution system. This reduces design, permitting, and construction time, and makes expansion simple. It also eliminates most digging, reducing cost and risk.

Both the VPort and FastConnect operate with any power level and any brand of EV charger. (VELOCE partners with world-leading EV charger manufacturers). Our ARGOS™ software platform works to automate design, optimize operation, and provide a single pane of glass interface. The system can integrate with solar and other onsite distributed resources, as well as provide resilience for EV charging and associated buildings. Since the VPort power electronics are fully bi-directional, the system supports bi-directional charging and can provide grid services.
