Properate.io is a social-purpose firm based in Vancouver, Canada on a mission to facilitate green construction and renovation using data and the latest technologies. Properate suite of tools enables fast building energy simulation for different levels of detail. Based on the outcomes of the simulations, the tools can find best building upgrades according to considerations such as budget, GHG emissions.

The specific focus of Properate is on low-rise residential buildings — the residential archetypes that are the most prevalent and are the heaviest emitters. So far, the technology has lowered the knowledge barrier and has provided all-inclusive, full-featured, decision-making tools to hundreds of projects across Canada.
