Awesense is pleased to announce that Rudi Carolsfeld will join the Awesense executive team assuming the dual roles of Vice President Sales and Chief Customer Advocate. In these roles, he has global responsibility for sales and marketing of the Awesense portfolio of revenue assurance products and services.

Mr. Carolsfeld brings with him more than 20 years of technical sales and marketing experience from two other outstanding companies solving Smart Grid problems. In his previous roles with Power Measurement Ltd. (acquired by Schneider Electric in 2005) and RuggedCom Inc. (acquired by Siemens in 2012) – both companies that were market leaders in their respective fields – he was instrumental in growing the international sales teams and influencing technology development.

Mr. Carolsfeld earned both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria. He has been a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 1983, has authored numerous technical journal papers and white papers, and is co-inventor of a multi-featured power meter.
