What You Will Do.

You will be part of a small sales & partnerships team supporting our sales initiatives and helping build our global brand. Our headquarters is based in Vancouver, BC. But the role will mainly be taking place remotely.

What Does the Job Look Like?

A key part of any startup involves developing sales strategies, reaching out to customers, prospects and new partners, growing brand awareness and developing product strategies. You will be involved in market and customer research, sales & outreach, positioning development, working on campaigns, helping develop promotional materials. You will also be tracking data, analyzing metrics and managing databases.

Key Responsibilities
Work with members of the team to build account strategies and perform market segmentation.
Be heavily involved in developing and maintaining sales via the Customer Relationship Management system.
Conduct outreach to new and existing customers using developed strategies and content.
Performing outreach to new partners with the goal of increasing the number of solutions on the Awesense Digital Energy Marketplace.
Prepare detailed promotional presentations.
Drive lead-generation through better positioning of our solution.
Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
Desired Qualifications
Have completed a Bachelor's degree in a business or STEM-oriented field.
Understanding of the energy sector and industry challenges.
Experience with marketing and sales techniques.
Familiarity with technology and social media platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have a passion for sales and growth.
Outstanding multitasking abilities.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Interest in the energy sector, solving issues surrounding renewable energy and transportation electrification.
